i'm with you. i drill a small pilot use 9/64 cause i buy those in cobalt in packs of 10. then i use the step bit and 99% of the time i'm going to 7/8. so what i want to know is how many holes i can do that in 16 guage steel sheet.

isn't the k silent in knipex

the first dewalt battery the countrerfeit cells are only 2 amp hr marked on the cells instead of 2.5 . so it's only at best a 4 amp hr battery using 2 rows of 5 cells. i found this a long time ago with the fake 5 amp hr batteries.

i would really have wanted you to test the harbor freight premium BREMEN brand instead of the pittsburg. i like them better than vice grip brand.
1
i bought some aftermarket batteries that you tested as good in a previous video . they didn't last 6 months

which are flare nut and which are regular wrenches in the table? i don't have time to watch the video . just the results. are flare nut better than a regular wrench ?

i would have like to see the dark high sulfur pipe threading oil . sulfur is a high pressure additive . i find it better on pipe threading and use it for drilling and tapping. you have the clear pipe threading oil in the oatey brand which did pretty good.

i tried the off brand ones that project farm said were actually better than genuine. after less than 6 months they would not charge at all. so you got lucky.

if you want to remove metal use 24 grit . anything finer is for a smoother finish.

the LG MJ1 is now 10 bucks each and 8.66 if you buy 1000 of them. so boy has the price gone up since this test.

got the kseibi step drill 3/16 to 7/8 . works really well on sheetmetal. bought 2 on amazon for 35 bucks. then they raised it to 29 bucks now it's not available.

why did you use a button head screw ? the depth of the drive is less and the shape is worse for torque. should have used a standard black socket head capscrew . and do you realize that there may be variation in the screws themselves . the drive in the screws are stamped not machined so there is a variance.
1
should have tried bad dog tools bits. they are carbide tips guaranteed for life and supposed to drill anything.
1
robertson are just about the best . the biggest problem with torx is that they don't stay in the driver and i always end up stabbing my fingers trying to use deck screws with torx.also robertson screws will stay connected to the driver even facing down. like a taper drill shank. the quadrex drive square/phillips combo are god as well.

so where is this do you actually test drills drilling? i'm talking drilling in steel or concrete not wood. cordless are good for some things but anywhere you need sustained power corded will win. angle grinder is a good example. i have both and anytime i have serious grinding it's corded. i have burned out cordless grinders . they are light duty.

i always buy wrangler relaxed fit jeans. for work my biggest issue is the pockets puncture . i always have a mini multi screwdriver , a small adjustable wrench , some shop keys. and a couple of snap off razor knives. so maybe i should switch to levis carpenter as they are about equal price.
1
likely you can't do it but checking the tire pressure on cars vs what their system says . you would have to rent a bunch and that would only cover a small spectrum.
1
according to us law jack stand weight capacity is always per pair . but in order to pass cert a single jack stands has to withstand 1.5 times the max load of the PAIR. so a 6 ton jack stand must be able to support 9 tons by itself. i haven't watched yet so i'm interested to see if these pass.

if you are only clamping 1 inch thick you shouldn't use a 6 inch clamp. go with something smaller like 4 inch. the weakest point is the screw itself and can bend easily when it is extended a long way .

my experience with the cheap dewalt knockoffs( vanon ) from ebay was the opposite of what you had. they claimed 4 ah but would last as long as a real dewalt 2ah. then after 6 months they wouldn't even take a charge and wouldn't power any tool.i have yet to have a real dewalt battery go bad in 3 yrs. i just buy real dewalt on ebay. usually way cheaper than amazon or home depot or lowes

i drill a small pilot usually 9/64 cause i buy those in cobalt in packs of 10. then i use the step bit and 99% of the time i'm going to 7/8. so what i want to know is how many holes i can do that in 16 guage steel sheet . drilling through with the step bit from scratch takes too long and if you are in an awkward place 20 feet off the ground on a machine it cam be too difficult without a pilot drill first.
