  1. nasa has tied itself to spacex and starship. only time will tell if that works out. so far starship is way behind schedule. needing 15 launches just to provide fuel to go to the moon seems crazy. appolo got there in one shot , why can't artemis? why is this huge rocket not powerful enough in the first place.? probably because of trying to reuse space shuttle components which were not designed for going to the moon.

  3. we had clouds in buffalo so kind of a bust . we could see a little through the clouds and it was cool how it got really dark in the last 30 seconds and later light in about 30 seconds.

  5. should have had the backwards bike and then alternated when you were trying in sweden. let others try. then you get the last laugh. start with the backwards bike in front of the crowd.

  6. the only sad thing is that the apprentice die maker was not so young. very hard to get young people into any manufacturing and maintenance is a dying profession. super hard to find good skilled maintenance people. most are in their 50's or older. hard to get any young people interested. it's like this mentality that doing less work is the goal in life. the work ethic is dead.

  7. i bet the preheater is a heat exchanger. the hot amine that is boiled probably is used to heat up the rich amine before it enters the boiler. this reduces the temp of the lean amine so it can absorb the carbon dioxide and not heat up the air and not evaporate into the air . some gets in to the air anyway leading to the amine smell you mentioned.
