@187Rajah what the hell are you talking about? the russian forces are 5 times less capable that's true.
11
ukraine has been dealing with cyber attacks since 2014. they have learned how to adapt and come back quickly . and they have made changes to become immune to cyber attacks in certain areas. for instance they have reverted back to analog control of the train control systems using old soviet methods that are not hackable.

ukraine didn't get any support in 2014 . obama just ignored US commitment as guarantor to the budapest accords. ukraine should never have sent their nukes back to russia. they had the 3rd largest arsenal in the world when the soviet union broke up. and the missiles were built in ukraine so they would not have had a problem changing out the controls .
5
@TroIIingThemSoftly yes we need to go back in time and not twist ukraine's arms to get rid of their huge stockpile of nukes. that was for our safety. in that deal we promised to protect them . as far as i am concerned that means as far as boots on the ground.
4
zelensky has overwhelming support and the morale in the military is huge. they just had another round of conscription in ukraine and had more volunteers than they needed. ukraine is willing to fight to the death . russians maybe not.
4
you are spouting headlines. there is tons of help for all those groups. california has poured billions into the homeless " problem" and it just gets bigger every year. i know veterans here who are super happy with the VA as well. there are all kinds of orgs helping disabled as well. there are always people who fall through the cracks.
4
and today it's over 6 km and increasing. they are kicking ass .it could spread to a pincer maneuver and surrounding of bahkmut.
2
well the UK signed the budapest accord as guarantor along with usa . so by that both nations are on the hook to support. send inventory of weapons. those are already paid for..
2
Perun on youtube has a great video of how corruption destroys a military. it a rundown of corruption at all levels and is not specific to russian army but very applicable. it is 45 minute video so not for everyone , but fascinating. yup that helmet probably got substituted materials from the time it was envisioned to when it actually got made all along the way.
2
hey preston , khmelnytsky is russified spelling. don't pronounce the K ,same with kherson
2
ussr would have lost
2
@robertbradbury7921 and how many of those are still active soldiers fighting.
2
also now countries around the world are ordering us weapons. poland placed an order for 589 himars launchers and 1000 abrams tanks for instance.
2
@barryon8706 and who do we sell the old equipment too? we won't sell abrams tanks because they are " secret" for instance. we have destroyed tens of thousands of mraps vehicles and we send them a couple hundred.
2
you are wrong
2
yup
2
i am torn. being ethincaly of ukrainian descent i want to strike back at russia especialy when hearing about their complete disregard for life. yet striking russia directly may galavanize the russian population to really back the war much more than they do. not sure if it would make a difference at this point. when a country gets bombed the reaction is always defiance so it won't stop anything unless ukraine had enough weapons to do really large damage . they don't have anywhere near the weapons or forces to do that .
2
uk didn't buy gas from russia
2
at this point i think ukraine should seriously consider a massive attack into russia directly to take moscow. there's no mines that way.
2
so WTF is wrong with elon? he loves russia
2
we have no losses. give them back their nuclear weapons. i care about ukraine . i don't care about homeless or inflation or drug addicts.
2
@sarven5974 oh shut up . people fighting to free ukraine from stalin are not collaboraters with the ss. the nazis killed as many ukrainians as the russians.
1
i totally disagree . i think a nuclear strike would bring nato in conventionally except for the fuckin french. surrender monkeys. the europeans would need to join but who knows they are to busy enjoying their lives and taking advantage of the us nato shield. convenient for them. poland would join for sure.
1
@spacemanonearth you mean jake broe who was nuclear missile operator
1
do the homeless need himars rockets or howitzers or other military equipment? NO so yes stopping military aid will not help the domestic issues.
1
@csonracsonra9962 shut up about the money. sending our entire forces would save lost of money
1
nato's tactic for what to do when you encounter a minefield = go around it ??? works if it's a 100 meters not if it's 100 KILOMETERS
1
ask the question by saying ukraine returned all their nuclear weapons to russia after our urging and signed a deal called the budapest accords. we also signed that and under the accords all signers including russia and usa , UK will make sure ukraine's borders are not violated. so are we living up to that? did we live up to that in 2014. ?
1
finland will have nukes son their territory so saying ukraine has to be neutral makes no sense.
1
russian way of negotiating #1 demand something outragoeus #2 don't give an inch #3 wait for the west to make concessions. this is the doctrine from soviet times. putin is the same. for those who say negotiate you need to realize putin will demand significantly more land than he currently controls and demilitarization of ukraine. he will build a bunch of bases in the occupied territories then he will meddle in ukraine elections and in a few years invade again . ukraine needs to start by demanding nuclear weapons which putin will never agree to. then all their lands back which putin considers giving ukraine parts of russia. he is not ready to concede anything.
1
russia will not start ww3. they are bluffing.
1
it will do nothing and is being portrayed as taking money from domestic issues. that is totally false. one has nothing to do with the other and the russians are feeding that line and our idiot people are falling for it without even knowing.
1
false
1
according to a ukrainian commander ivcalled markus in this counteroffensive he says he can't reveal numbers of dead but can reveal percentages. he says they have lost kia or missing 2% of forces in 1 month and they calculate riussians have lost 14% of their forces kia or missing . if this is true across the board it turns the 3:1 idea on it's head in that the russian defenders are losing 7:1 against the ukrainian attackers
1
@gregoryfilin8040 nope
1
we have to deal with our southern border for sure. BUT supporting ukraine doesn't take 1 cent from that effort. it just takes willpower to enforce our laws. none of that enforcement is done by our military forces. yes we would save big money if we implemented the stay in mexico policy again. that would cut the border crossings hugely. then we need to increase or create a streamlined system to hear refugee claims and process them. and we are actually dying for people who will do physical labor. our younger generations have made it very clear they are not interested in work. where i work by increasing wages we just got people taking more days off for no reason. it's gotten way worse since they legalized weed a couple years ago.
1
just bulldose them to the side
1
except they are advancing every day.
1
what ukraine really needs is mine clearing equipment that can either work at say 50 miles/ hr or is immune to mines and immune to artillery. all conventional mine clearing equipment is used slowly and surely not when you are being shelled by the enemy. the slow pace of arming ukraine with weapons like himars , storm shadows and planes let russia spend over a year building mine fields, tank traps and trench systems all over the south .
1
@elmaxidelsur of course ukraine is part of europe. you don't know geography.
1
time for a hydrid vehicle . anti mine flailing chains and a bulldozer blade behind. push the teeth away. run parallel to the line and push the teeth away it piles . use artillery or mortar fire as cover.
1
why was it a vital interest for usa to have ukraine get rid of their nukes back in the 1990's. in 2014 when russia broke the agreement usa should have stationed nuclear missiles in ukraine. and not controlled by usa but by ukraine.
1
putin already knows the outcome of his election.
1
tiawan being an island is both good and bad. china can't just roll in the tanks but they can try to surround and blockade tiawan. tiawan needs to concentrate on anti ship armaments and anti aircraft missiles.
1
there are already polish nationals in ukraine fighting as volunteers. in fact some were part of the russian freedom fighters that invaded russia in belgorod region. there was a picture of a soldier had a polish id patch on his sleeve.
1
@vemaraju russia is the terrorist nation invading a free democratic country. they have no rights in ukraine or europe.
1
no the ukrainians are outnumbered and they only hold out due to vast minefields and trench systems. ukraine is advancing if slowly, but every day they advance.
1
the uk was prevented from letting ukraine use storm shadow missiles on russian territory . even though it's a british/ french missile somehow the us had veto power on where it could be used. say there was a situation where uk needed to hit saudi with missiles but the us forbids it .
1
russia will not let any of the wagners leave
1
yes what if russia invaded alaska and made some fake referendum that alaska wants to join russia. how would that go over ? how about if some state made a referendum for leaving the usa or joining some other country. like say new mexico joining mexico? remember we fought a civil war over a bunch of states leaving . so the occupied regions in ukraine don't have a right to leave regardless of any referendum.
