  7. so he basically took away all rights of criminals and some innocents got swept up in that as well. so for salvadoran society the results are better. for any particular individual the results may be better or far worse. so do the rights of society outweigh those of the individual? in usa we go for individual. seems in salvador the other way was better for the vast majority. as long as he doesn't become too corrupt like many dictators over the years things are good. they got lucky.

  19. it sounds like the one thing that helps stop entry crushes is to have many many entrances in a wide expansive area. design it so you can accommodate the whole stadium coming in in like 5 minutes or less. the other possibility is have a strong stockade system that keeps the crowd separated into layers only a couple people deep. that way they can't push forward. a series of strong short fences that zigzag back and forth

  20. yet you yourself admit the improvements in the dam would not have prevented the collapse. after they could not generate electricity they should have just opened the gates and drained the lake. i'm sure there would have been a hundred lawsuits against that of course because people seem to think they have a right to recreation lakes.

  24. false claim about fusion. the final amount of energy the lasers delivered was less than the energy that came from the reaction true BUT they completely ignore that it took 100 times more power to produce those laser beams . so on the whole they got 1% of the energy back. that's like saying my led bulb is super efficient but ignoring that you run a home generator to power it that wastes 90% of the energy.

  26. and the gov't giveaway of 300/ week extra has made the problem of not having enough workers much worse.it should end now not in sept. or at least the states should require those collecting to provide proof they are looking for a job. and also tesla was mostly unaffected by the chip shortage although that is changing.they never cancelled chip orders since their sales increased by 50% in 2020.
