  1.  @BigSmartArmed  there is an american guy who went to ukraine at the start . he ended up training them how to use the javelin. he said they needed batteries . that was a problem. so a buddy over there with him looked at the battery specs and made a rig with lead acid car batteries so they could train soldiers on the thing without having to replace expensive and hard to get batteries. they could just recharge the car batteries. this was only for training not in the field for actual use. he was interviewed on the youtube channel - speak the truth . 4 episodes . look that up.

  4. everything i read is the javelin cost about 50k per missile note 250k. maybe the 250k is the complete unit including the clu . i'd like to know what is the markup by the maker. i'm sure it's huge . what does it actually cost to produce ? and the NLAW is less expensive . i heard 30k . it works just as well.

  5.  @wildtatz  this is false . space pen was invented by a guy who only used the idea it can write in space as advertising. nasa had nothing to do with it. and using pencils in space is terrible since the graphite dust will float around and short out electronics. the space pen has a pressurized ink cartridge.
