  1. no,. electric cars are much more efficient energy wise. they get about 100 mpg equivalent . electricity is much cheaper. my brother bought a BMW and it costs hime 80 bucks a month for charging vs his previous vehicle which cost him 600 a month as it was a jeep with a supercharged 426 hemi. he has a heavy foot .and just bought a used tesla plaid because it's about the fastest car you can get.
