you guys totally blew it when you didn't even mention how china retaliated by not buying us grain . thousands of us farmers went bankrupt because they lost the chinese market. this kind of thing will happen all over the world .

you don't get things done by yelling at trump.

uh that's why their stores are located in shopping deserts so that you can't just go across the street or next door . you seemed to have missed that. why do you think people go to 7-11 and pay more- because they are there and open 24-7 so convenience.
15
@tomer4566 baby carrots were invented by one carrot seller . up till then 75 % of the carrot crop was too ugly for retail. he came up with a system to cut and shave the carrots to create baby carrots . that became a huge hit.
15
says he does good things
9
no he said he helped push it along which he absolutely did with project warp speed.

history is full of individuals who won't sell their house for a development. usually it gets built around them. when they die the house becomes worthless or get's incorporated into the development. people can be stubborn. at some point the last 3 holdouts may be forced out by the local gov't.
7
no scam. it saves lots of lives all over the world especially africa.
7
yes it's in addition to other defense systems. the real cost is the cost of the laser system , which they don't mention. is it 100 million each, 10 million each or what. more power will always help. get it to a megawatt and now it becomes more effective.
7
the problem is FREE SHIPPING and the consumers who expect it. maybe free shipping should be outlawed like they did with 30 minute pizza delivery.
6
@saahiliyer11 yes they can if they get much higher prices months down the road . what other customers need LNG anyway. it's europe that needs it.
5
do you have any idea how much power and pumps it would take to pump the 120 million gallons uphill in about 5 minutes? that's 224 million gallons/ minute at 50 psi minimum . that's 600000 KW or 600 megawatts. and probably more . that's a decent size power plant . and that's for 1 lock with 1 transit.
5
@Teverell well we have snow here and many places get heavy snow that would bury your groundplate with a meter or more of snow/ice.
4
if i lived there i would get fake grass put in. i don't like the desert landscaping.
4
he inherited his show from bill oreily . he was a quirky bow tie wearing nobody before that
3
@snidecommenter7117 it gets there but much more is needed . by sending in dribs and drabs just means we end up running out . need to send high numbers to push russia out. if we had sent himars 3 months ago when russia pulled out of the north then mariopol may have been saved and the map would look quite different.
3
no ,short bursts with higher power don't work well against a missile . you need to melt through. unless the burst can do that which currently is not possible at any real range.
3
yes reporters always overstate things like this. they never seem to know the simplest technical details.they say something has the power of 1000 cars when you look at it they use 25 horsepower for a car.
2
well in ukraine they under siege .they have no choice . us troops get the luxury of going back to the usa someday and being safe . us only fights pipsqueeks who can't do anything of consequence to the us mainland. no way they can actually invade usa. not the case in ukraine . the enemy is invading and is also a much bigger enemy.
2
no
2
except the stockholders got screwed at least twice and it's the stock market that provides funding for big companies and you and me with pensions. so now the non union trucking companies will get more business.
2
his money is in a charitable foundation that saves thousands of lives. what do you do but whine about some imagined transgression.?
2
@hindsight2022 last i heard he lost by a very small amount because of california. if he did get the popular vote it was within the margin of error
2
he hasn't dumped anything. he had to sell tesla stock to pay for his idiotic purchase of twitter.
2
allow foreign companies to sell insulin in usa. import from canada , mexico europe etc . tell fda if the stuff is approved in the other country it automatically must be approved for usa.
2
paying wages
2
iron beam is very limited . the range is short because of beam divergence in the atmosphere . plus if there are clouds or rain it's not any good. so it can do something but only close up . in israel their targets are crude unguided missiles fired from adjoining territories . so its " easier" to hit.
2
@CarFreeSegnitz any energy sent back will be so degraded it will do nothing. no reflector is 100% efficient. the reflector will get damaged almost instantly and stop reflecting.
2
the state owns the beach not the individual homeowners
1
@davidprobert4171 yes the military aid ends up in us military contractors. as will much of the aid to ukraine. a big chunk of the 40 billion - 9 billion is going to replace us inventory - at 3 times it's original cost. so 3 billion of arms sent to ukraine gives our military contractors 9 billion. yet we "gave " ukraine 9 billion. much of that inventory was due to be replaced with newer versions anyway.
1
rfk is full of nonsense . if we stop giving polio vaccine it will be a great tragedy.
1
@fb55255 you don't build tanks. you find large salt deposits underground then drill into them and pump water in and out to dissolve the salt and make a huge cavern. and you store the gas under pressure.
1
i read us has come to the conclusion that laser weapons are impractical so it's not a top project anymore.they tested it on airplanes and on ships . a nuclear ship would have enough power. 300 kw is actually not a lot of power . it's 400 horsepower. lasers are only powerfull close up . as the beam spreads the watts/ sq cm decrease rapidly.
1
tell that to russia
1
yup
1
they wouldn't do that as then putin would declare war which would free up more soldiers and put russia on a war footing. so all industry and people would be dedicated to war like ww2. right now it's a special operation so putin is a little limited although not that much.
1
false
1
there is always a counter strategy for each side. that's what happens in war.
1
and do you think if gates yelled at trump that would change trump's mind?
1
@hindsight2022 yes
1
well they could have quit and worked somewhere else @alexrebmann1253
1
well if they are willing the chinese can bombard the cities with missiles like russians do.
1
how come gasoline pumps pretty much always work with a credit card and pay at the pump? i have never had one not work with a credit card as long as i can remember and i'm in my 60's. so why are these electric chargers so terrible at something that gasoline pumps do flawlessly? and seems if you don't have a smartphone you can't own a tesla.
1
@vincentgrinn2665 there always has to be water lost on the last lock each way. when the water goes down to sea level the locks open. the ship leaves . if they try to pump that water back it will have a mixture of fresh and sea water
1
@frankrenda2519 built in ukraine where all ussr ICBM's were built
1
@bobbyschannel349 every code can be cracked . and the missiles were built in ukraine. and the best rocket engineers were ukrainian. famous Korolov head of their space program was from ukraine.
1
doing medical research that doesn't come up with a cure is not a nothing. if you invested your salary in the stock market every week you would be a millionaire but you waste it on your family instead. so you get nothing. similar analogy.
1
@ronhau1542 the same 1/3 think trump won the election even though all evidence shows he lost massively.
1
@DanC-go9lc infrastructure act , chips act are 2 that i can a name.
1
in china pretty much everyone accepts that their govt knows everything about them and tracks them . they have no choice about that , so having a single app is very convenient . here everyone is paranoid about " their data"
