  8. it was a gasoline pipeline not oil. no gasoline was lost. the hack didn't affect the actual operation of the pipeline. Colonial shut it down because their billing and I.T. was hacked so their ordering system was screwed up. the physical pipeline was ok.

  17. you skipped over very many details that were important to the story - like the fuel gages were not working due to some maintenance issues and lack of spares . and the pilot actually had to do a maneuver where he slipped the plane to slow it down. basically forcing it to fly sideways . something gliders do. the real story is the Gimli glider .
