  3.  @jordanekl5383  nope and you can burn a diamond with a torch no problem. jewelers need to be careful when using torches around diamonds. diamond is just carbon. heat it high enough and it goes back to black carbon.

  6. so if this guy has a grave and it's known if his corpse could be exhumed and dna taken then using genealogy websites perhaps relatives could be identified and traced back. it would take a monumental effort yes, but i doubt the will exists or there may be legal barriers or his grave is unknown.

  9. so the whole saga was repeated in the 70's /80's with marijuana and paraquat . the courts even ruled it was legal for the govt to spray marijuana with paraquat which was a herbicide that was also toxic when the weed was smoked .
