you have to also remember that stalin had been committing genocide and atrocities against ukraine and ukrainians for many years before the war . there was big incentive to fight against the soviets regardless of who gives you the gun. you know ww2 was not about the jews. that was side show by a madman. ukraine was fighting against another madman before the war ever started. and that madman got away with it . and now ukraine is fighting his successor who is the biggest fan of stalin and his methods.

biden's support has been ok but too tentative. he remarked months ago the ukraine doesn't need F16's. he was wrong. they need them now with the counteroffensive kicking off. air power would really help especially the plethora of armaments that the F16 can use.

so if only 20 billion of military aid out of the 48 billion has reached ukraine where is the rest? the pentagon said they have spent the money already? is it the cost of getting the stuff there? ukraine has been audited and we know where everything is or went and there is no diversion . any congressman can get the accounting if they want. would like to know what happened to the other 20 billion+ ? going by what this man says ukraine is doomed then moldova and the baltics.

the fatal mistake was made by bill clinton back in the early 90's when ukraine declared independence. he admits that today he should not have lobbied aggresively to get ukraine to send their massive nuke stockpile to russia. the ukrainians were convinced that usa would protect them . well obama dropped the ball terribly on that in 2014. what clinton should have done is a deal whereby usa would help ukraine secure the weapons and monitor them. they could have agreed to destroy a large number of the missiles and especially ICBM's but ukraine should have retained at least 100 mobile tactical nukes as a deterrent against russia.

the maga's don't care about europe or the baltics . they care about low taxes and having their guns. so if putin attacks the baltics which is part of nato i fully expect the us no matter who is president to not go to war over the baltics like he says. if trump wins he will pull out of nato . if it's biden or someone else they will not go to nuclear war over nato even though that is the whole point of nato.

russia stopped exchanging prisoners in august . since they don't care about their own guys they would rather hold on to or kill their ukrainian prisoners. or maybe they use them for forced labor of some kind.
