  3. i remember a story just in the last year about a guy who owns a laundromat in san francisco. wanted to put up like a 3 or 5 story apt building for low income housing. he spent 8 years fighting with the locals who even changed the laws to prevent it. and that's a commercial lot. he finally just sold it to a company that will continue the fight. they should just bulldoze a bunch of san francisco and put up high rises like 20 stories for " social justice" plus due to prop 13 real estate taxes are basically capped but in the meantime many are all for taxing wealth of the rich but not their property.
