  1. No the summer was the best time to invade. If they invaded during the rainy season of spring they would have bogged down. Speed was the most important thing to them.

  2.  @PaulWalker-sy1sj  By 1943 when lend lease really began to matter the war was already won. The Soviets would be able to beat the Germans without it. The Soviets were in a better position then the Germans when it came to food and war production from the beginning.

  4.  @PaulWalker-sy1sj  No it did not. Lend Lease started in December of 1941 when the USA joined. Russia had already basically secured victory after they really needed lend lease.

  5.  @dkolle3446  when does summer begin again? He is talking about invading in April. He said 5 weeks before June 21st and even then I think he means even earlier.
