How the fuck is that comparable to the modern day. Look at how diverse America is today. We have adopted some things from the Natives. Our culture has becomes mixed with African Americans, and different European ethnicities contributing.

It didn’t become the bread basket it is today until relatively recently. That is a fact. There are many areas in Africa today with the potential to become massive producers of food.

No there wealth was destroyed once the slave trade was abolished and many slaves were taken from Nigeria in the first place causing a drain on the population. Only the nobles and people who managed to create companies during and after colonization are the ones who are actually well off. The average slave trader then probably became poor as fuck.
