To get where we are now it took the collective labor and knowledge of all of humankind from our first ancestors in Africa who created fire, the bow and arrow etc etc to Shockley, Bardeen, Brattain who created the transistor. From the sugar plantations in the west indies in the 1700s to the countless manufactories in China churning out those iPhones.
