Reis Ezequiel They will not debt trap anyone.
2
Alejandro Maldonado They are getting resources for their loans.
2
Azian Cruz Politically?
2
Steven Mackintosh I think Iraq and Afghanistan were modern imperialism. Why was Iraq invaded? Did Afghanistan asked to be invaded?
2
@abdulmismail Only if we gave them less money the Palestinians would be free.
2
QuisqueyanGuy I dont hate the government i disagree plenty but the thing is our government changes over time with the will of the people for the most part. All im saying is that the sanctions are not helping the Venezuelan people at all.
2
rest of people in UAE pretty poor and its a small ass country
2
@lakshyakashyap1490 Their water isn’t actually threatened. This is a power play.
2
“Corruption” is just a product of lack of infrastructure and poverty.
2
chan polun the economy and people livelihood improved after maduro the sanctions is what i making the country worse. Do research in Venezuela before Maduro and how life imporved.
2
@ziadhaithemamin1431 Well Ethiopia hasn’t cut off their water supply andn never will lmaooo. It’s literally just a power move by Egypt. If the Ethiopians did they would be fucked by the entire world. Sudan doesn’t just get flood protection but also electricity to buy. If the Egyptians destroyed the dam it would cause sever flooding in Sudan leading to them joining the Ethiopians side.
2
@larsstougaard7097 Yeah but that population is split between 54 fucking countries. In Nigeria alone there is 200 million people. In some countries it may not even be that much of a problem but local farmers are still drowned with subsidized Western crops. Infrastructure to deliver those resources and education is what will help. Not money, and food.
2
Also they have already been filling the dam during rainy seasons nothing bad has happened.
2
@bman6065 major wars have become gay now. Thats why the major powers only fuck with little countries and terrorists just to keep the military industrial complex running without sending your economy down the shitter in real war.
2
@golagiswatchingyou2966 No. We don’t hear about descendants of African Slaves from there because most of them were absorbed into the Arabic populations of the Middle East. Only relatively small populations are left scattered throughout the Middle East and Anatolia. I believe the largest African population is in Saudi Arabia at 500,000 and the average Saudi is around 5% Sub Saharan African.
2
@heinrichmirgrautsvordir6613 They could not take over Africa. The population is to large and they are not equipped with fucking spears anymore. Why do you think we are still fighting the Taliban or lost in Vietnam. I also said the gap was not nearly large as it used to be. Can you even fucking read?
2
@golagiswatchingyou2966 Bro you really no jack shit about history do you? Please explain how they were dysfunctional. Also you are kind of proving my point in that the US had to influence the European powers to let their colonies go. Still they fought wars to try and keep them under their control until pressure from the US and their own people made them give up.
2
@gabbar51ngh We gave the money to Pakistan that allowed them to train Afghanistan lmaooo.
2
@You are correct But The first world is still very much a large part of the reasons why Congo and other Africans states are mired in poverty despite have so much resources.
2
@fallendown8828 How many nations that practice Islam are extremist? The majority or the minority?
2
@gabbar51ngh Split between 54 countries with varying needs. Also what kind of aid did they send? Was it just food, money, clothes, weapons? (That they probably soled to militias in order to carry out government overthrows, and secure resources at dirt cheap process for our phones like coltan from the backs of children slaves or maybe cause the starvation of a few million people for Nigerian Oil. Or maybe you didn’t know that many African countries were trying their best with their export and backwards colonial governments left to them by the Europeans directly after independence but many countries ended up defaulting on their loans and cold war proxies increased leading to all the wars and unrest of the 80s and 90s.
2
@gabrieelfranca_ It’s simple geopolitics
2
China is not even close to reaching the French level of neo colonialism and I doubt it wont.
2
likowskitg higrs blacks?
1
likowskitg higrs Where the fuck you get this from?
1
Dannebrogs Søn Nah probably the US and EU and Russia because of arm exports and proxy wars.
1
I think most African countries should be split up they are just to diverse to form stable governments quickly it would take like 100 years to form a solid sense of nationalism in the countries. Their colonial masters really fucked then over. At least some have made progress in the 50 years of their existence.
1
pineapplesareyummy but landlocked countries will forever be fucked and look at the Democratic Republic of the Congo it is just to big
1
@peterjones5243 bruh you motherfuckers always come out of the woodwork.
1
@popkhorne5372 Where the fuck are you getting this info from? Those “few” civilizations were literally the largest and had most of the continents population within the border. The Swahili city states, Kongo, Nigerian kingdoms, Ashanti, Sehalian Empires, the many stone cities littered across southern Africa. Literally every region of Africa had a sedentary urban society. I assume you can guess the reason they are not around anymore.
1
@popkhorne5372 What the fuck do you mean the rest. Do you know how many existed? This is like saying Asia was all poor due to nomadic peoples of central Asia.
1
Purveyor of Cognitive Dissonance civil war?
1
@mrniusi11 gold, glass, and textiles. What else were the supposed to exporting then? Plastics?
1
@mangoorange356 He is likely correct Tigray is the most powerful ethnic group yet they are being strangled by Ethiopia and Eritrea.
1
[ ANUBITEK ] [ OFFICIAL ] Racism changes as people and cultures do.
1
@kacgb5315 Where did you get 1400 years from? Its was like 900 at most. Castration wasn’t that common and the Atlantic slave trade shipped more people in only 300 years. Literally the greatest forced migration in all of human history.
1
@HarryMonn this guy didn’t do shit lol.
1
@elliottramsden6147 how else where they supposed to train their navy from scratch? Hate how people disqualify things due to it having foreign influence. LITERALLY everything has foreign debt influence.
1
@silverhost9782 Yeah but they were countries before that. Japan, China, and Korea were never colonized be Europeans.
1
@resilientlemon1302 They were empires and kingdoms in Africa most famous example Zulu because of their fight against the British there isn’t a Zulu nation because they lost.
1
@blankbw883 Education is increasing and has been since decolonization. Over the period of colonization barely any education was done lmaoo. The Europeans said they were bringing ”civilization” but left behind a fucked up system instead.
1
@kulkrafts3143 The Achaemenid Empire is literally the largest empire to ever exist in history by percentage of the human population controlled. But this whole conversation is dumb past achievements or failures has little to with the present. Thats like saying Greece could beat Iran in a war right now.
1
@blade5896 source?
1
AileDiablo With what money lmaooo.
1
Steven Mackintosh So? We did not go there to help them we went there to get Osama. Have we fucking helped them so far?
1
@harshsharma9233 What the fuck did he do when it cane to foreign policy that helped the US?
1
4 centuries what the fuck are you guys talking about?
1
joseaca sanctions
1
QuisqueyanGuy im black and im not a leftist
1
joseaca Yes if something is hurting the economy it is likely hurting the people’s way of life as well. All im saying is that we shouldn’t be doing anything there at all.
