  46.  @merlemiaut  "The toxicity you're exuding is breathtaking." Then you start name calling..... Is your natural state hypocrisy? Let's see here. "is a way of living" Veganism is a lifestyle and does not define a person. Veganism is not the definition of vegan. Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or use animal products. "seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable" It is very possible and practicable to stop using all of the devices you used to make comments and replies. Computers, routers, and servers are made with animal products and are easily avoided, you intentionally chose to use them anyway. Tsk Tsk. There are millions of people all over the world that live a happy comfortable life without making comments on youtube. "all forms of exploitation of" All forms means "all forms" right? Or does it just mean the forms you choose because of convenience and so you can make replies to people to call them names while being a hypocrite on the internet? "animals for food, clothing or any other purpose." Any other purpose means "any other purpose" right? 😂🤣 Or is that also about convenience? Where in the veganism doctrine does it state you should name call and be a hypocrite while using animal products? "As far as is possible is the keyword here" Cool. So you think it is impossible for people to stop making comments on youtube? Are you serious? "Hypocrite" is your keyword. I was done with this comment two weeks ago and you decided to attack me and lie. "Trying your personal best while not directly supporting obvious abuse is enough to be vegan." If that were true then people would actually try their best instead of using products that contain animal products. You made a personal choice to buy or use animal products. You chose convenience over reducing harm and abuse. "in today's age it's unreasonable to expect people to not use the internet" Congrats. You have achieved a new level of hypocrisy while justifying your hypocrisy with convenience. Do you honestly believe that people should stop lying about being vegan while their provably not vegan by any metric? Do you think a movement like veganism is serious when the only people that claim to follow it are blatant liars and hypocrites?

  47.  @merlemiaut  I get it. You have to build straw men to argue against me because you have nothing. "But for real, you actually pay for animals to be killed and forcibly impregnated" So do you. You do realize the tallow and gelatin industries own their own slaughterhouses solely for extracting gelatin and tallow right? They don't even use the meat. Gelatin processing - Encyclopedia Britannica. Gelatin processing plants are usually located near slaughterhouses, and often the owners of gelatin factories have their own slaughterhouses where animals are killed just for their skin and bones. "and tell me I'm a hypocrite for using the internet." I am telling you you're a hypocrite because your preaching "reduce" while "using" needlessly. Would you like the definition of hypocrite? "Insisting on some definition nobody but you agrees with." The definition of "vegan" I use was created by the Vegan Society and it was requested by the Vegan Society to be included in Oxford Dictionary. So....you lied. In my last comment I actually addressed the veganism doctrine. Do you have to make things up and play pretend to argue? Your coast guard comment is irrelevant and ludicrous. There is no such thing as a percentage metric for being vegan. You either are vegan because you don't eat or use animal products or you're not vegan because (like you) you do in fact eat or use animal products. Veganism is a doctrine. "The word veganism shall mean the doctrine that man should live without exploiting animals." - Leslie Cross (founding member of the Vegan Society.) It is not the definition of a person. Do you not understand the difference? Do you have extra chromosomes? doctrine (noun) - a belief or set of beliefs held and taught by a Church, political party, or other group. person (noun) - a human being regarded as an individual. There you go. You just learned something new. Now you can stop lying, being a hypocrite, and building straw men to argue against someone that is obviously much more intelligent than you.

  48.  @merlemiaut  "It is perfectly true that it is almost impossible to be 100% vegan in this world." There is no perfection metric. You either are vegan or you're not. I went over this. "Veganism is about keeping the damage done to animals as small as possible." Then do it instead of whining about 100%. You intentionally use products with animal bits in them and then tell me about reducing harm. You're a hypocrite. "It’s not about being perfect." I know....levels of perfection isn't in the metric. It is like a on/off switch. It is not like a dimmer switch. "So what if Vegans decided to stop using computers right now?" There are no vegans to do that so I don't know. Use yourself as proof. You're more than willing to use animal products while arguing with someone about an irrelevant perfection metric to justify your personal use of animal products. "Without all these things we could not live as vegans and could not be in a position to make a positive change." There are many cultures that don't use any of those things already. If they were to change their diet as well they could be vegan. You're making a conscious choice to use animal products to simply argue with someone on the internet that is factually correct. "Without vegans, the world would get worse; much worse." Then it is as bad as it is going to get because there are no vegans. Everyone currently living on the planet intentionally eats and/or uses animal products that they can avoid. People choose to use animal products for convenience. If they actually cared they would forgo convenience and instead reduce their harm where possible and practicable. "The whole point of Veganism is to decide to stop intentionally causing harm and exploitation and reduce the unintentional harm as much as is practicable and possible." Then do it. Why argue with someone pointing out you're not doing it when you made the choice to not do it and continue to not do it. Do you have an extra chromosome? "These words, ‘practicable‘ (able to be done or put into practice successfully) and ‘possible‘ (able to be done; within the power or capacity of someone or something) are important to note. " Okay and? You can simply avoid using animal products instead of arguing with someone on youtube's servers which are possible and practicable to avoid. You are a shining beacon of hypocrisy. Anything else? Going to show more hypocrisy, lies, straw men, and ignorance?
