That would mean they are on a vegan diet and are not vegan. Which makes sense because vegans don't exist.

@mole62ssf Electronic devices are made with animal products. Namely rendered animal fat and gelatin. These things aren't placed on a ingredient list because they are not considered food. Cell phones, routers, servers, desktops, notepads, laptops, and cables all contain animal products.

It doesn't magically mean you're something you're not. I light bottle rockets in July. I am doing what I can to be a rocket scientist so by your logic I am magically a rocket scientist. I wonder why DARPA or JPL isn't banging on my door and offering me a job. Oh right....because doing something in part doesn't mean you're fully invested.

@shunn889 Not my problem. Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or USE animal products. This is the official definition lobbied by the Vegan Society for placement in to Oxford Dictionary. Don't like it? Talk to the morons that lobbied so hard.....oops....you can't, he died of cancer....

But then....everyone claiming to be vegan that gets outed as a hypocrite falls back to the veganism doctrine. It's almost like they enjoy being proven wrong. As far as possible and practicable...? 😂🤣 It should be changed to what it is. "Veganism is what you can fall back on when you're a virtue signaling hypocrite and choose to use animal products for hobbies, convenience, and fun." Is it possible to stop using electronics? Sure....the Amish do it. Several tribes around the world do it. Is it practical? Sure if you don't want to be labeled a hypocrite. Is it convenient? Nope. And that is what it is really about. It is inconvenient to live by the ideals they pretend to have so they won't.....then they will quote "possible and practicable" all day long without even knowing its origins.....like you did.

@idruss You can't murder an animal that is grown for food. There is no such thing as a vegan in the modern world.

@Trinity M Murder is uniquely human. You can't murder livestock as they aren't human. As far as sentience goes, who cares? Everyone living in the modern world is fine using products made with animal products. Even the people pretending to be vegan are fine using animal products for convenience, entertainment, hobbies, and fun.

@steviedavidson5130 Many electronics have been proven to be non-vegan. The plastics, screens, metal coatings, batteries, etc contain animal products. Companies do not have to list a material list because electronics are not considered food. They still USE animal products.

@MrTmenzo Being vegan means you don't eat or use animal products. Being vegan is considered a lifestyle. But no one really wants to be vegan because it is inconvenient so they get on a vegan diet and lie about being vegan. Being vegan = noun. Vegan diet = adjective.
