Refined animal fat is used to make the plastic less brittle and is used in LCD screens. Bones are used to purify the silicon that is used to make the glass and processors. So no.....commenting isn't vegan.

You do realize things like cell phones, computer monitors, television screens, video recording equipment, keyboards, dry wall, the internet, asphalt roads, servers, microwaves, refrigerators, etc etc all contain animal products right? The definition of "vegan" in the Oxford dictionary is the definition lobbied by founding members of the vegan society. They wanted the word to be a noun and for it to define a person that does not eat or use animal products. That is the official definition of vegan and remains the official definition to this day. So instead of replying to me with your irrelevant posts that are false and/or lies you should now convince liars calling themselves vegan that they are not vegan but you appreciate that they are trying to make the world a better place. Labeling* (that's how you spell "labeling") people as hypocrites and liars when they are in fact hypocrites and liars isn't an attack. It is a fact. Leslie Cross took power and changed it to mean "a person that does not eat or use animal products." He was a radical. I never made the argument that "calling yourself vegan is a lie so you should just eat meat because you can never be vegan." I made the argument "Technically you're not vegan but that doesn't mean you shouldn't continue caring and working towards becoming vegan." Once people get confronted with their lies they jump to extremes and try to justify their lies and contradictions. I am just pointing out that calling themselves a thing they aren't is a lie.
