That's cute. You don't don't the difference between the scientifically backed food chain and the food pyramid.
24
She is a bit delusional. All people claiming to be vegan are.
20
@geludduk2407 No vegan can argue against that. Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or use animal products. Modern conveniences like electronics, vehicles, asphalt, and glass contain animal products. No one is vegan.
12
@Derizo "animal murder" Murder is uniquely human and illegal. Livestock are not human and slaughter is illegal. You're appealing to emotions. Why do you use animal products intentionally and needlessly for entertainment? I know you won't answer this directly and honestly, but I want others to see your moral hypocrisy. I predict you won't answer the question, you will go into denial, you will ask which animal products proving you don't do any research, and/or you will use a doctrine as a justification for using animal products needlessly for entertainment.
5
They are fanatics.
5
@karensabortionclinic7491 "it’s no different from you having a family dog for over ten years or a pet snake.." You're conflating pet animals with livestock meant for slaughter. Using your inane logic you shouldn't have any problem eating water hemlock and nightshade.
5
@mg44bee67 No. There are no vegans here to annoy. Just a bunch of people pretending to be vegan so they can virtue signal on the internet.
5
@cl0uku People live better under capitalism than any other economy. It has its problems but it is still the best there is.
4
@dekufan-f7i Then go practice veganism.
4
@bobbyb4024 "From my perspective you both cause harm to sentient conscious beings, and do it solely for your own pleasure." From an objective perspective you cause just as much harm as everyone else, and you do it for your own convenience. You use products made with the same dead animals that normal people use. " But why does that cow have to be murdered?" Can't murder a cow. A cow isn't human and "murder" is uniquely human. "Why can't we just use it to produce fertilizer?" Go do that. Let me know how that works out for you. Thanks for the win.
3
@VeganJustToAnnoyYou Of course not. She is uneducated on the very topic she claims to know the most about.
3
@Tomb-Wraith "I'm not going to have this conversation with you again" And yet here you are replying again liar. "because you don't understand how language works." Your personal fan fiction is not how language works. "So I'm not sure what you want me to say." Start with facts instead of being a liar and a hypocrite. "You'll just use ad hominems and ignore the point anyways. " You're only points are full of lies and hypocrisy. Still can't refute me. I continue to accept your concession.
3
@Maquiavel Arturiano "Are vegans annoying because they make you question your misinformation, prejudices and common sense?" Mainly because they all lie and only claim to be vegan to virtue signal.
3
@Maquiavel Arturiano "What dothey lie about?" do they* They lie about being vegan. "Can you point out what's wrong about their claims" Sure. Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or use animal products. They use animal products. "or has meat cholesterol blocked your brain arteries to such an extent that you can't reason properly anymore?" Ad hominem? Attacking the person because you don't have an argument or is your baser instinct just to belittle people that know more than you?
3
People claiming to be vegan come up with all sorts of arguments to demonize normal people. It's like they are mad because they know they are just lying about being vegan so they come up with names to call normal people. "just value the live over the taste it gives you for 5 minutes" You use products with the same dead animals that everyone else uses. Okay for you, but not for normal people?
3
@NoInjusticeLastsForever Here you are appealing to emotions again. Livestock aren't human. You harm animals just like everyone else. Claiming to not want other people to harm animals while harming animals = cult.
3
@Derizo It was ranked 4th out of the top 5 diets and is the only diet that requires supplements to actually be healthy. They have since retracted their position. In another comment you whine about how hunters should use what "nature" gave them. Nature did not make lab tested supplements.....
3
They are all the same. They are all delusional and they all lie about what they are. Some are just more vocal about their virtue signaling.
3
@User24x No what? Use your words....
3
@User24x So you can't refute me?
3
@User24x Thanks for your concession. You can't refute me.
3
@User24x Thanks for your concession. You can't refute me.
3
@Hannah Bradner Vegetarians are just normal people on a diet. People pretending to be vegan are fanatics that are virtue signaling for attention.
3
@Jose-wy5pg I don't think vegans are bad. I think people pretending to be vegan are bad simply because they are claiming to be vegan when they are provably not. Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or use animal products. If you eat or use animal products you're not vegan. Very simple.
3
Nope. BLM is a hoax created by fraudsters so they could live in a $450,000 house in a white neighborhood while eating at expensive restaurants every night. That's why their leader was indicted.
3
Which vegan girl? There are no vegans in that video.
3
Yes.
3
@theanimetrapstar You use animal products cut from the same dead animals that normal people use. I guess you're just giving yourself a pass.
2
flans m Telling people they should accept that morality dictates they shouldn't eat sentient living beings while you're using animal products made from the same animals is hilarious. Stop being a hypocrite. "...buy being vegan lol" By*
2
@sapnaabbasi4864 The science isn't settled on if plants feel pain or not. We just know it isn't similar to humans. People claiming to be vegan just look for any excuse to justify their personal use of animal products. Morals, ethics, etc....all hypocrisy.
2
@lukeh8056 " eating meat causes more suffering than the alternative, eating plants. " Making things up is not an argument. Why do you use animal products needlessly for entertainment pleasure while pretending to be against it?
2
We can't "go vegan." You're the perfect example of why it is not possible.
2
The people claiming to be vegan weren't vegan in the first place so they automatically lost the debate by lying.
2
Claim to be vegan = lying.
2
@Maquiavel Arturiano "Carnism isn't a term to designate people who eat meat or hold an omnivorous diet. It is a term coined by psychologist Melanie Joy to describe those who actively support animal exploitation, which of course does not apply to all omnivorous people. " By your logic then you and every person living on the planet is a carnist. You do know the electronics you used just to post your replies are made with and/or contain animal products right? How does it feel to be the very thing you are against?
2
@Maquiavel Arturiano Virtue signaling hypocrite detected. Who said anything about being perfect? Straw man fallacy detected. Argument from fallacy detected. The veganism doctrine (basically) states to stop using animal products where possible and practicable. It is very possible and practicable to stop using animal products to comment on youtube. You're literally using animal products needlessly. You may thank me for the facts and apologize for the misuse of the incorrectly used fallacy now. Define "peopld."
2
@Maquiavel Arturiano "You implied that it was necessary to be perfect." You assumed that I implied perfection was needed. If you truly believed in veganism you would be vegan and you wouldn't be using animal products beyond what is possible and practicable. I am just pointing out that you and people like you pretending to follow veganism factually use animal products beyond what is possible and practicable. Often you do this for convenience, hobbies, and fun. Claiming to follow something you don't or pretending to be something you're not is virtue signaling.
2
@eleanorwatson5351 I notice you're conveniently leaving out that most of the crops that feed livestock are byproducts of other industries. Namely the ethanol, soybean biofuel, and paper industries.
2
@eleanorwatson5351 sigh..... I didn't ignore anything. If we stopped feeding cattle what happens to them? Oh right.....they die of starvation. Cows can live a long time. Do you also want to force them not to procreate? So starvation and loneliness are your ideas? That sounds worse than many of the alternatives. Soy bean would still be grown in very large amounts for biofuel. Like it is now. The Oxford study did not acknowledge that those plants were grown for other industries. They only acknowledge where the crops end up. Example: 100 bushels of soy is grown for soybean oil. After they are used by industry those 100 bushels are then sold again to farmers. Oxford just says those 100 bushels went to farmers. This is disingenuous of you and them. Those same crops would go to industry even if there were no livestock to feed. We would still need to grow more than we need to feed humans because of that. The same thing happens with many other crops. So just be honest instead of cutting out a large portion of your disingenuous argument. I guess if you can't be honest it proves you don't really have an argument at all.
2
@eleanorwatson5351 Why do you continue to lie. You're not vegan. You're using animal products every time you reply. Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or USE animal products. Smart phones, computers, routers, and servers (some of which you needed to comment) are all made with animal products. You're not vegan. Your crop stats are either blatant lies or disingenuous. You wholly lost. Let me help you though. You want to be vegan? Okay start now. No more eating or using animal products. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 go!
2
@eleanorwatson5351 You call me deluded while believing "your" and "acctually" are spelled properly? "You can deny facts all you want but in the end they are facts and cannot be disputed." I am giving you actual facts. Your lies and disingenuous out of context statistics are irrelevant. You're aware veganism and vegan are different words right? Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or use animal products. Actual and official definition of the word vegan placed in Oxford Dictionary by the founders of the vegan society. "Veganism shall mean the doctrine that man should live without exploiting animals." - Leslie Cross inventor of the doctrine in its current state. A doctrine is not the definition of a person. This is a pretty typical reaction that people pretending to be vegan have to facts. You know you're using animal products. You know you are using them needlessly. You know you use them for convenience. Yet.....hilariously you call me deluded. Thanks.....that is funny and while I do expect it every time you virtue signaling hypocrites still make me laugh.
2
@eleanorwatson5351 You quoted the doctrine and believe that is the definition of a different word? LOL That alone is proof enough of your bias and delusion. Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or use animal products. This is the official definition of the word "vegan" lobbied by the Vegan Society. No amount of quoting the "veganism" doctrine which is a different word will change the actual and official definition. How do you know what lifestyle I lead? Oh right. You're making assumptions on my lifestyle because I pointed out facts you don't like. I guess when you run out of arguments for your unethical lifestyle all you can really do is attempt to insult me by being a hypocrite. I get it. I really do understand. I came out of nowhere and gave you facts that you didn't know about and instead of researching them to find out if they are right you allowed cognitive dissonance to interfere with your rational thought processes. It happens all of the time. People claiming to be vegan are indoctrinated into certain opinions and they are taught these are facts. You use animal products from the same animals normal people eat and you then call them unethical. That is the definition of a hypocrite. Congrats. You have thus far proven you're a liar, a hypocrite, disingenuous, and biased to a point of no return. Thanks for the laughs.
2
@eleanorwatson5351 So all you can really do is lie, build straw men, push false narratives, and cite out of context disingenuous information? I never made the argument that just because you could't be a vegan it means its okay to do as much harm as possible. You're either a vegan or you're not. Perfection isn't part of the metric. Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or USE animal products. Notice it doesn't mention perfection? It just says "eat or use." That is the metric. If you eat or use animal products you're not vegan. You use animal products every time you reply to me with your lies. Look, like I said. I understand. You're upset that facts are destroying the feelings and opinions you have been building for years. You have virtue signaled on the internet and at home about being something you're not and now you're getting proven to be a liar. Now you are left with more lies, backpedaling, and building straw men to argue with me. Just be honest. You're not vegan. That isn't the end of the world. Not being vegan doesn't mean you have to stop caring. It literally just mean you're not vegan. So stop lying about it. You won't change my mind with your opinions. The only way you can change my mind is to travel back in time and convince the vegan society to make the official definition of vegan something else. Because at it is, I am 100% technically, literally, and factually correct. Try again.
2
@eleanorwatson5351 "You may be able to lie to yourself that your actions are justified " Still building straw men. Is that why you took a day off? I never said anything about that. I simply say you're not vegan. That is a fact. That doesn't mean you can't participate in a movement. It doesn't justify being against a movement. It just means.....you're not vegan. The Oxford study is not "wrong" it is disingenuous as I have already covered several times. Scroll up and read. Does dyslexia make you illiterate? Why do you reply without reading the entire comment? Stay away from the straw men and try again.
2
@jlichty2128 Animal farms are often on grazing land or land that isn't good for growing crops. There is nothing wrong with green house gases in certain quantities. Methane breaks down over 8 years. Maybe you should think about banning volcanoes...
2
@lucianaruiz9713 I said something factual. You counter with nonsense. Thanks for the easy win.
2
@Abel Abel Just objective reality.
2
@NoInjusticeLastsForever You claimed to know. Show the proof or admit to being a liar. Thanks again for the easy win.
2
Everyone. Stereotypes exist for a reason.
2
@neovin7660 I might consider it as soon as someone starts being vegan. I shouldn't have to be the first.
