@Tomb-Wraith Pratical is not a word. So it would make sense that people pretending to be vegan would prefer it. It's actually "possible and practicable" which you don't adhere to either. It is very possible top stop replying to me. It is very possible to stop commenting on youtube. It is very practical to stop commenting as you are just wasting your time because all you do is justify your use of animal products because you want to virtue signal. Period.

You replied again and you didn't need to. Is it your job to reply to me in youtube comment section? No? Then you can cut out some animal products that you're in fact using by not commenting on youtube anymore since it uses different routers and servers than your job uses. But you don't want to do that do you? You're not vegan. You just pretend to be while continuing to use animal products for convenience hobbies and fun.

@Tomb-Wraith Of course you will keep replying. Because you need to justify your use of animal products. An actual vegan wouldn't need to do that. Since everyone claiming to be vegan has to advertise it in some way it proves they are just virtue signaling. You can post the doctrine as often as you like. It is still a doctrine about a lifestyle and not the definition of a person. Less than .8% of the population believing a falsity doesn't change a official and established definition. It also doesn't change a doctrine about a lifestyle into a definition about a person. Keep replying though and proving continually you're not vegan and you don't follow the doctrine. Every reply just continues to prove that.

Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or use animal products. Veganism is a doctrine about reducing exploitation of animals when possible and practicable. The simple act of making a comment on the internet is using animal products that are possible and practicable to avoid. Smart phones, computers, routers, and servers are made with and contain animal products. He is a liar and a hypocrite pushing a narrative that doesn't exist to bully his betters.

@Abel Abel It's not a contradiction at all. The same person who came up with the veganism doctrine also made the official definition of "vegan." He believed that even if you can't be vegan you should at least practice the doctrine. Do you lie for fun or is it a personal problem?

@Derizo Humans have made it here by exploiting our nature given intelligence. We use tools, can set traps, and document information so later generations can use and improve upon those tools. Why do you use animal products intentionally and needlessly for entertainment while acting like you're against it? I know you won't answer this directly and honestly, but I want others to see your moral hypocrisy. I predict you won't answer the question, you will go into denial, you will ask which animal products proving you don't do any research, and/or you will use a doctrine as a justification for using animal products needlessly for entertainment.

@eliastta437 Think about it from a broader perspective. They claim to be vegan. Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or use animal products. They are fanatical about it. They virtue signal all over the place. Then look at the absolute facts. Smart phones, refrigerators, microwaves, routers, asphalt roads, drywall, windows, servers, etc etc are all made with animal products that they happily use for hobbies, convenience, and fun. They come to the internet (made with animal products) to whine about how we are eating dead animals. They use those same dead animals to whine at you. So before you take any of those lying about being vegan seriously remember they are just as ethical as everyone else. Don't ever let a hypocrite make you feel bad about being a normal human being.

@eliastta437 It is not a bad video. Just a bit disingenuous. They actively avoid showing where all of the animal products go. They leave out that the electronics they used to film the video are made with animal products from those same animals. There is nothing wrong with reducing your use of animal products. There is nothing wrong with caring about animal suffering. Just don't get caught in the hypocrisy trap.

@eleanorwatson5351 And again you leave out the fact that soy is processed first for soy bean oil biofuel long before it goes to livestock. Removing the livestock from the equation still means nothing to the soybean oil market. Just like ethanol plants use corn and later send the byproduct to livestock. They won't stop making corn based ethanol just because you want to starve livestock out of existence.

I am just saying that factually, technically, and literally you're not vegan if you eat or use animal products and the doctrine of veganism isn't the definition of a person. @eleanorwatson5351 My reply to that is correct. Oxford only counts the end destination of the crops and does not count the industrial uses. Anyone claiming to be a vegan despite understanding that they are in fact using animal products is displaying cult like behavior. It is very common for people with fanatical beliefs to suffer from cognitive dissonance. You believe you're vegan while using animal products to argue that your vegan. You might as well eat a cheese burger while claiming to be vegan. By your logic I am a rocket scientist, biologist, medical doctor, psychologist, and nutritionist. If you can be vegan despite using animal products than you can claim to be anything because you did a part of something. Light bottle rockets = rocket scientist Talk about plants and animals = biologist etc etc You didn't deny molesting children so that must mean you do it.....by your logic.

"No one is capable of being entirely free of animal products doesn’t mean you should write off a movement that seeks to reduce harm" I never said it does. If pretending to be vegan is the only thing you can do to forward a movement, the movement has failed. Real movements can go forward without people playing pretend, lying, and blatant hypocrisy.

@loadedgloves4519 It is not incorrect. 44% of crops go to industry. 33% go to livestock. 23% goes to humans. Even if we were to stop feeding livestock and letting them starve. Crops would still be grown for industry. What farmer is going to feed their livestock if they can't sell them? So you would rather have near extinction of certain species? Plant based isn't ethical. Plant based is just hypocrisy wrapped in convenience. Look at anyone claiming to be vegan. They jump on the internet to whine about animals using electronics made with animal products from the same animals normal people eat. When they are called out for it they justify it by claiming "practicable and possible" as if convenience makes them exempt.

"And it is the vegan diet that is more benifitial than a non vegan diet." Define "benifitial." The Mediterranean diet is more healthy than the vegan diet or plant based diets. "And using vegan alternatives that are available make a difference." This is an opinion. There is proof on both sides of the debate that using vegan alternatives may/may not being helpful to the planet.
