@tRexArmXtender So you're conflating being vegan with practicing veganism despite the absolute fact they are different words with different definitions?
"A 100% vegan way of life does not exist."
Vegan (noun) - a person who does not eat or use animal products.
Being vegan isn't a percentage metric. You're either vegan because you don't eat or use animal products or you're not.
"So we do what we can to eliminate the use of animal products where we have an actual choice"
But you don't.
I can prove it.
You had a choice to make a comment on youtube. You chose to use animal products when the option exists to not comment or use youtube at all.
Smart phones, computers, routers, and servers are made with and/or contain fat, gelatin, and bones.
You needlessly used animal products just to reply to me.
"The majority of crops and therefore accidentally killed animals are grown for feed of lifestock, so that's that for this argument."
This is just fan fiction made up by people pretending to be vegan.
85% of livestock* feed is inedible to humans. Corn stalks, soy bean leaves, nut shells, etc...
12% of livestock* feed is processed in industry first. Ethanol, Biodiesel, soybean oil, etc...
1-3% is overstock or considered inedible because of age/contamination/etc.
The actual amount of livestock feed that is edible to humans is 3% or less.
"So going vegan does not eliminate animals dying, but it is a step"
Can't go vegan in the modern world.
Smart phones, computers, routers, servers, asphalt, drywall, refrigerators, microwaves, televisions, motor vehicles, carpet, etc (million of products) are made with animal products. To be vegan you can't eat or use animal products.
Anything else? Can you try again? Stay away from the lies and fan fiction next time.
