01:20 The most appropriate (fictional) quote is: “..You know, when Apollo 17 landed on the Moon, people were calling up the networks and bitching because reruns of I Love Lucy were cancelled”. — Dr. James Kelloway, Capricorn One (1977).

There’s a group that demonstrably does, but we’re not allowed to say.
25
The humans who got bored watching the fire and wandered off... ...got eaten by lions, tigers and bears. Evolution in action.
15
What balance is there on the moon to be upset?
13
At 19:24 the presentation on Unit 731 glossed over some details: The researchers involved in Unit 731 were secretly given immunity by the United States in exchange for the data they gathered through human experimentation. Other researchers that the Soviet forces managed to arrest first were tried at the Khabarovsk War Crime Trials in 1949. The Americans did not try the researchers so that the information and experience gained in bio-weapons could be co-opted into their biological warfare program.

Some countries rely on imports for 100% of their wheat (eg. Somalia).
9
It was too expensive and ultimately a death trap killing over 1% of its crew.
9
@Bruhmomentos0979 You’re clueless

Evolution can only improve incrementally. This often leads to local maxima where an evolved ability reaches the best it can for the chosen path, but is incapable of transitioning to an alternative method that is ultimately superior. Eg. Compound eyes on dragonflies.
7
I suspect he got as close to the subject as he could without getting banned.
7
Maybe you should try actually learning something?
5
@joe_limon purely anecdotal but the gays I know are all pretty monogamous, but then they are all over 30. I suspect the risky behaviour is mainly in a younger demographic (like most things).
4
The biggest issue is the hopeless inefficiency of fuel cells being only around 50% after a hundred years of research.
4
@dasr11mj33 you need to go learn some history.
4
Correct, unfortunately it’s no longer permitted to have honest discussions about such things on social media. What people get up to private is entirely up to them, and I don’t remotely care. What I do object to is the suppression of genuinely useful information, in case it upsets a few misguided people on Twitter (who often aren’t even in the group most affected, but their demand for attention leads them to pontificate on the issues on that groups behalf).
3
2 in 135 is very obviously not 0.014%... ...it’s 1.48% Nobody would get on a plane they knew had a WORSE than 1 in 100 chance of killing everybody.
3
This was all planned.
3
08:51 We all know that problem isn’t the gateway/station/orbiter, it’s using SLS to get it there.
3
For most plants, growth is restricted by insufficient fixated nitrogen (nitrates - fertiliser), not by insufficient CO2.
3
Space Shuttle and SLS are a tribute to cost-plus contracts... ...Great for shareholders ...Not so good for tax payers.
3
@GandolphTheGreyBeard ‘Moon’ and ‘Source Code’ were both directed by Duncan Jones (David Bowie’s son)... ...unfortunately everything he’s made since has been a disappointment.
3
You didn’t watch the video
3
@justinmudford4629 Please provide the calculations that support your claim.
3
@kymo6343 You’re clueless
3
There simply isn’t enough of it.
3
There’s no reason why trucks should take any longer than cars to recharge (200+ miles in 15 minutes), and rest stops are required by law for truckers.
2
Fuel cells use expensive catalysts, they aren’t going to get any cheaper or any more efficient (50%). Keep dreaming.
2
Starving where?
2
Bram?... ...Where’d he go?
2
If you don’t list them, your comment was a total waste of time.
2
Cue “The Lockpicking Lawyer” 🤣
2
He’s not allowed to say
2
Now go lookup what actually became of the Luddites. (Many were hanged, the rest ‘transported’ to Australia, breaking machines was made a capital offence).
2
Evolution works like that
2
@MrBizteck your ignorance of history is impressive.
2
Even if the Semi never appears... ...The Tesla Bot will, and guess the first job it will be given.
2
It isn’t at sea level pressures. Pure oxygen becomes toxic at around 1.6 Bar. (A water depth of 20-30 feet)
2
@cpuuk I’m not sure anybody understands the mechanism, I only know about it from a 1966 Eagle annual.
2
@SymphanyinSorrow Strictly speaking it isn’t illegal now. It was banned by Carter in 77 but the ban was lifted Reagan in 81. The real reason is nobody wants to do it, the process costs billions and there are no longer any customers for the resulting fuel.
2
Or it could just plug itself into the wall.
2
I’m sure there are also people who love the “Spruce Goose”... ...but that doesn’t make it a viable plane.
2
A good start would be reclaiming the Sahara desert, then the Middle East, then Australia.
2
The use case for flying cars never really existed, just like video phones.
2
Grow up
2
That’s when the deal was completed, they bought it in December 2020. I bet they’re regretting it now!
2
Shhhhh, you’re not allowed to say that!
2
It’s just methane, lpg powered cars have been available for decades. There just aren’t enough stations providing it, and EVs now are better.
2
@martingorbush2944 fair point. I was attempting to show there was nothing new in the concept.
2
Starship renders the whole concept irrelevant
2
Nature is full of mimicry, being able to discriminate is an important survival ability. Eg. some animals signal being poisonous visually, some mimic the signal but aren’t.
