Given that Falcon-9 launches now only cost $15m, you are clearly wrong.
2
Totally false, Falcon-9 is massively profitable. It’s Starlink that needs Starship.
2
Can you please provide your evidence that Starship is ‘debunked’? The current figures appear to be valid.
1
You can easily do the calculations for yourself. With 10x stage-1 reuse, Falcon-9 launches only cost $15m. Go do the maths and see for yourself.
1
@oldmandoinghighkicksonlyin1368 $50+m is what they charge their customers.
1
Very good, now explain why.
1
Your claim sounds like similar claims about Chernobyl... ...turns out nature is tougher that we thought.
1
Go do the calculations for yourself, it’s pretty easy. With 10x reuse of stage-1 you get launches for $15m.

@jeffreyblack666 When SpaceX tried to lower their charges they were immediately accused of dumping /predatory pricing by ULA and Ariane, needless to say they haven’t tried since.
1
@jeffreyblack666 The approximate cost calculation is: The booster costs $40m The stage-2 is $10m The booster over 10 flights costs $4m Refurb, fuel, admin etc. $1m A new stage-2 $10m Total: $15m (By now, with boosters lasting 13 reuses and improved production, they’re probably down to $12m). Fuel costs are pretty insignificant at $200k in total with reuse probably costing $20k at most, I’m not sure why your obsessing over them.

Around 5% is used for plastics.

I’ve heard there’s been a bit of backtracking on the feathered dinosaur theory, but I’m no expert.
1
The yields are less, you’re probably right, but it would be nice to have a source for that claim.
1
02:39 Where did the $1,600/kg figure come from? Falcon-9 has a payload of 16,250 kgs. At $1.6k/kg that’s $28m per launch. SpaceX charge $50m per launch. It costs SpaceX $15m per launch (source: direct quote from Elon). $15m per launch is only $900 per kg.

Yes, they mean power companies can schedule rolling blackouts without cutting off politicians.
1
That sounds very... ...German.
1
Yes
1
They can’t force you to have them... ...yet.
1
‘Organic’ farming simply doesn’t have the same yields. If the entire planet went organic, millions would literally starve to death.
1
I have the same impression, yields are much lower, people would die.
