@s.e.sportscards The ability to remotely disable cars has nothing to do with them being EVs

@5MGE Most Tesla owners are too busy getting on with their lives to remotely care about you. You’re just projecting.

@Sercil00 The warranty being for 100,000 miles doesn’t mean the batteries only last that long, it only meant to cover you for faults. Degradation appears to be generally a lot less so packs are looking like they last 300,000 to 500,000 with LFPs likely to last up to 1,000,000.

Even powered by coal, EVs are 3x more efficient and have lower emissions.

Off-peak electricity is much cheaper than gas, but carry on wasting your money if you like.

@poopingwhilestanding5801 1) In the U.K. less than 50% of electricity comes from fossil fuels. In California it’s 50.4%. 2) EVs are 3x the efficiency of ICE cars so even if all the electricity came from coal their emissions would still be less and they’re still cheaper to run.

@AvoidsPikes- thanks Benny

They have warranties.

@norwoodwildlife9849 It’s 8 years and 100,000 miles.

@SkorpTS while ‘planned obsolescence’ definitely exists in some areas, there’s no evidence that Tesla do it.

@highbrass3749 good point

You clearly have Musk Derangement Syndrome, so your comments in this area are worthless.

People in Norway and Sweden seem to manage fine.

@geraldsanchez1934 Fair point.

@generalawareness101 Teslas have a 100,000 mile warranty.

@s.e.sportscards Does the New Vehicle Limited Warranty transfer to the new owner if I sell my vehicle? Yes. Your New Vehicle Limited Warranty will follow your vehicle and be transferred to the new owner when a vehicle ownership transfer is performed through Tesla.

@somethingsomething8511 now calculate your spending on fuel vs electricity.
1
@somethingsomething8511 I meant the electricity that you would have spent if your car had been an EV. I’m sorry, I thought that was obvious. You very noticeably haven’t done that.

Teslas can add 200 miles of range in 15 minutes, by then you’ve been driving for around 3 hours and should take a break anyway.
