The reality is that what you get now depends on how long ago they were trained. Most medical professionals over 40 will aspirate, especially if asked. Most others won’t even know what it is.

  35.  @massivereader  You’re welcome to provide non-anecdotal evidence for your claim. The US-NIH/NLM study is dated 2015. The U.K.-NHS cites data from 2008. Procedure documents for hospitals in the U.K. dated 2007 still specify aspiration.

  44. Not true, you only need a TV licence in the U.K. to watch ‘live’ broadcast TV or BBC iPlayer. On-demand streaming like Netflix, DVDs and YouTube do not require a licence.

  45.  @starlight122012  Not really true either. Canada and Sweden fund national TV through direct taxation - this is unfortunately the model the U.K. will probably move to. Other countries have an extra tax on the electricity bill, or the internet provider (eg. Australia). Wherever the government is involved in the funding you get the same problem. Arguably the Tv licence has successfully kept the BBC more independent of government, as can be seen by their blatant globalist Marxist propaganda.
