  18. Agreed, but looking at the photos, there’s hardly any soil, it’s probably a few inches of hard packed clay on top of solid rock. Filling earth bags there will require hard manual Labour. It’s going to be hilarious, these people have never done manual labour in their entire lives. I estimate each person will manage 5 bags a day at best, with an average hut requiring 500+ bags. That’s 3 months hard labour (for them). For a glorified mud hut without any fittings.

  20. I doubt the soil there is particularly ‘lush and fertile’... ...it’s very obviously scrub with a poor soil of hard packed clay with a depth of around 3” on top of solid rock.
