India is the most racist society on Earth. This leads many to avoid as much sun exposure as possible in order to lighten their skin because it’s a status symbol.

Take supplements

Most medical professionals know hundreds of these mnemonics to remember things better, like the bones in the hand.
2
It could have been many things. Simply being more physically active could have helped.
1
When lightness of skin is a status symbol, it’s very difficult.
1
It’s better than nothing but not enough, you should be looking for at least 50 micrograms (2,000 IU) per day in my opinion. But if you’re on any medications you should check with your doctor first.
1
It’s better than nothing. Please provide your calculation for the amount required to obtain 4,000 IU/day of vitamin D. Oh wait, it doesn’t contain any vitamin D.
1
@Beekind799 you’re pushing a product, yet you are completely ignorant about what is in that product. You’re a complete 🤡.
1
That why it’s called a vitamin.
1
No, it’s easier to eat it. It needs to be metabolised by your liver and get into your blood.
1
@jimjamson9534 true, but India is the worst example because of their caste system.
1
Absorption is a factor, but if you aren’t taking enough anyway then it won’t magically increase the amount.
1
It’s because they avoid exposure to the sun.

The antiviral effects of vitamin D, especially in respiratory diseases, has been known for decades. It’s cheap, easily obtainable, and unlikely to cause any side effects in most people. Refusing to accept this is delusional, you should seek counselling before your mental condition worsens any further. Also, the Trump bleach claim was propaganda by the left wing media, if you see the full press conference instead of the edited version you can see for yourself that Trump was referring to a pioneering new antiviral treatment using the disinfectant properties of UV light, administered via a device injected down the trachea into the lungs.

Too simplistic

It’s all on the internet, just go look. D is the generic term D3 is in most supplements. D2 is usually from vegetarian sources and is around half as effective. Both require metabolising by the liver to produce the version in your blood. This requirement effectively slows the absorption.
1
Yes, but in a country where the lightness of your skin is a status symbol, many won’t.
1
@kevintravis5123 covid has a low mortality rate.
1
@kevintravis5123 People regularly engage in dangerous activities all over the world to increase their attractiveness. Anything requiring general anaesthesia (eg. breast implants) has a risk of death at a similar level to covid.
1
Yes But if you live at higher latitudes, in winter you WILL be deficient.
1
You are obviously incorrect, people were dying at rates well above the normal total before the vaccines were available.
1
The average for the whole of India is over 30%, this is well above the levels of most other countries. Nobody is denying there are regional variations, but the overall effect is the same. The major dietary sources for vitamin D are animals, not plants. If you know a country with a higher rate than India, you’re welcome to state it.
1
@ajs41 Around 20 minutes, 40 if you’re BAME.
1
No, they just need to stop being so racist and get out in the sun more.
