The RDA/NRV for vitamin D was wrongly calculated. This has been known since 2014 but totally ignored. Most people at higher latitudes with office jobs are deficient, especially in winter, especially if more ‘melanised’. There are no health risks from taking it for most people. It’s cheap. Given the above, what possible reason could you have for not taking it?

Be careful taking cod liver oil, it’s easy to overdose on vitamin A which is toxic.

Their food probably isn’t that great either.

Most people get plenty of K from their diet.
2
@christinebadostain6887 taking extra isn’t going to do you any harm, most multivitamins have the RDA/NRV for vitamin K
2
@edwinasherwood-jones9073 ok, fair enough, mine are tiny white pills
2
@copernicofelinis Utter nonsense in my opinion. There’s no evidence of people failing to assimilate vitamin D that I’ve heard of. Ask him for his evidence.

The U.K. wasn’t silent on vitamin D... ...Hancock just blatantly lied about it.

They won’t know, it’s a retrospective study.

@edropper2732 Ok, out of curiosity, how were we supposed to react to your self professed laziness?
1
@lanceg6828 simply not true, the amount required is tiny and it’s in loads of things eaten daily in Western diets like cereals, cooking oils and dairy products.
1
@sncnutrition7118 Nobody’s denying that, the point is most diets contain plenty of K so supplements for K aren’t necessary

@ji.ol.1490 yes, thank you genius

Why chew? They’re not exactly big
1
Why don’t you assimilate it? And how do you know?
1
@elingrome5853 most people get plenty of k2 in their normal diets.
