  1. I remember a Thunderbirds comic/annual story in the early 70s portraying the ‘World President’ as being black, and nobody thought anything about it. Similarly, a major character in the ‘Eagle’ was ‘Blackbow the Cheyenne’ who seemingly also passed as the local doctor without comment.
