  1. My only involvement with the police was having a policeman perjure himself in court, be forced to admit it 5 minutes later, and face no penalty whatsoever. I don’t have much faith in today’s police, or our ‘justice’ system.

The Police Commissioner for Nottinghamshire, Caroline Henry was recently banned from driving for six months, fined £2,450, and given 15 penalty points on her driving licence, after being caught speeding five times. (To the great delight of Alex Belfield, I’m not a huge fan of his, but he does raise some interesting questions).

  3. Not only are there zero police ‘on the beat’, my local police station is only open 4 hours a day, 4 days a week.
