  1. Uk birth certificates do not record ethnicity (neither do death certificates). Sometimes you can make an educated guess based on the name but it still won’t be certain.

  3. If these minority families with histories traceable for hundreds of years really existed then they would be trumpeted from the rooftops. This hasn’t happened, there’s a reason for that.

  6.  @albanan1  Claiming a lynching doesn’t necessarily mean a hanging is disingenuous because: 1) Mostly it is. 2) People use the terms interchangeably 3) a person who drowns is normally described as drowned (as he was in the newspaper). Describing it as a lynching was done deliberately to be more emotive and mislead the reader.
