  2. You’re wrong about the film. 1) Military service was not a requirement, you just had to sign up for general service. Obviously in war time most of it is likely to be military. 2) You did not have to be a ‘citizen’ to have children, all you got was the right to vote and the right to run for office. Rico’s own father wasn’t a citizen yet he had Rico. 3) “wasn’t aloud” - “weren’t allowed”.
