  1. A highly disingenuous title and conclusion. Those who favoured reducing the number of immigrants coming to Britain in 2019 was 44% (22% say ‘reduce a lot’ and a further 22% say ‘reduce a little’). A further 39% said they would prefer the number of immigrants to stay about the same (the most common answer), while those favouring an increase were a minority of 17%. A common interpretation of ‘the number of immigrants staying the same’ is the TOTAL remaining the same - I.e. a reduction of current immigration to ZERO. This interpretation leads to 83% wanting less. My experience of polls is that the results can be heavily influenced by the ordering and precise wording of the questions.

  9. The UK is not a democracy, it’s a representational democracy, I suspect this is part of the problem in some areas.
