A highly disingenuous title and conclusion. Those who favoured reducing the number of immigrants coming to Britain in 2019 was 44% (22% say ‘reduce a lot’ and a further 22% say ‘reduce a little’). A further 39% said they would prefer the number of immigrants to stay about the same (the most common answer), while those favouring an increase were a minority of 17%. A common interpretation of ‘the number of immigrants staying the same’ is the TOTAL remaining the same - I.e. a reduction of current immigration to ZERO. This interpretation leads to 83% wanting less. My experience of polls is that the results can be heavily influenced by the ordering and precise wording of the questions.

Maybe you should be more careful about what YOU put in YOUR comments?

@georgewashington2930 - Aren’t you breaking the ToS of YouTube by creating another account? Wouldn’t that make your original statement pretty stupid and make you likely to be banned again? You’re kinda dim.

Reducing isn’t halting. The poll questions are deliberately ambiguous.

The UK is not a democracy, it’s a representational democracy, I suspect this is part of the problem in some areas.
