  1. ‘Missed’ seems unlikely. 1) Pursuing this instead of a car would have been less effective in achieving the stated goal of Tesla. 2) He’ll get to this market segment eventually.

  2. The reality is that the cost/benefit is too low (the area available would only add 5-10 miles of range at best). It makes more sense to put panels on their distribution centres.
