  22. We all know the real reason they’re ’testing’ in Morocco is because there’s plenty of sunshine. For realistic use in Europe the figures just don’t add up and are blatant nonsense. The reality is that a safe, reliable, legal car doing a practical speed of say 60mph will be lucky to get 10 miles/day from solar in Europe.

  29. The car just uses a chemical filter/scrubber. The filter is full after 200 miles and captures 1oz (30g). Their project does not address processing the filters. It’s a gimmick that reduces the range of the car. The reality is that capturing CO2 is better and more efficiently performed by a dedicated industrial large scale processing plant. Note that if the car isn’t charged from renewably sourced electricity then they’re actually making things worse. The whole project is meaningless virtue signalling, which given what the Dutch government is currently doing to its farmers, is entirely predictable.
