  4.  @desertdan100  you’re missing the point, the productivity of the panels is given in litres at STP (standard temperature and pressure) when it’s density is 0.083 g/Li. Sam then calculated the mass of hydrogen produced using the density of LIQUID hydrogen which is 71.1 g/Li. In my opinion the article quoted the yield by volume in a deliberate attempt to trick people into thinking it’s good. The key here is that the efficiency of the panels is half that of PVs, not 500x better.

  16. The emphasis of petrol production from oil is largely a choice. Other uses are currently only around 3-5% but that could be easily increased.
