Comments by "Fred Bloggs" (@fredbloggs5902) on "Hertz dumping former Tesla rental stock at incredibly low prices" video.
All the claims in the comments that nobody wanted to rent them are hilarious because the mileages blatantly prove otherwise.

The batteries are still under warranty 🙄

That’s true for ICE cars where the OEMs sold at specially reduced prices. Tesla didn’t do this.
3
That would defeat the purpose of selling them 🙄

 @icosthop9998 blatant lies. Major crashes take time to repair regardless of the make. Insurance replaces the car anyway so it doesn’t matter.
2
 @DC.409 They aren’t ’dumping them’, it’s completely standard practice to sell off rentals at 2-years.
2
Blatant lie

 @USAoutofEurope Blatant lie. Who’s paying you?
1
You’re clueless
1
 @leerjet18 you don’t give up posting FUD do you? Who’s paying you?

The batteries are under warranty 🙄
1
The cars being sold fit all those requirements, what is wrong with you 🙄
1
 @leerjet18 you’re clueless

Hertz CEO: “At some point, the reality of EVs and Teslas being the best selling car, will at some point render them the best rental car”.
1
Meaningless comment without context 🙄

Are you claiming the screen shots of the ads are fake? 🙄
1
Ex-rental cars are always sold below market rates because 1) They have much higher wear for their age and 2) The rental companies want to get rid of them quickly.
1
It’s a completely different radar system. It’s higher resolution and much cheaper.
1
 @brendanpells912 there’s no evidence for that 🙄
1
 @brendanpells912 The simple answer is we don’t know. Neither do you. You’re clueless.

 @stormsj No, it’s from 2024. Go see for yourself.
1
 @stormsj So you’re going to ignore EV sales doubling in 5 years 🙄 You’re a clueless 🤡
1
 @Markcain268 It’s 9% of all new sales. You’re clueless.
1
 @Markcain268 cluelessness confirmed. Your ignorance really is impressive. Go learn something before you embarrass yourself any further 🙄
1
 @Markcain268 You clearly don’t understand exponential growth 🙄 ICE sales are already collapsing and will be below 10% by 2030.
1
 @stormsj believe whatever you like, the figures show otherwise

Hertz CEO: “At some point, the reality of EVs and Teslas being the best selling car, will at some point render them the best rental car”.
1
Blatant lie, Hertz have stated they were in high demand.
1
 @icosthop9998 why are you lying?
1
 @DC.409 Blatant lying again. In the U.K. in 2022 average premiums for EVs were £1,097 a year, diesels cost £1,119.
1
 @DC.409 High acceleration and a young demographic drives premiums higher, who knew 🙄
1
 @capnkirk5528 LFP batteries run to 10,000 charge cycles. Most EVs only need charging weekly. How is a battery life of nearly 200 years / 2,500,000 miles a problem?
1
Given Tesla have the highest margins in the auto industry, they obviously CAN lower prices if they need to. You’re clueless.
1
Hertz CEO: “At some point, the reality of EVs and Teslas being the best selling car, will at some point render them the best rental car”.
1
 @Markcain268 Except they were only 3%, and ultimately will be replaced. You really are utterly clueless.
1
 @larryevans6739 Tesla isn’t responsible for them choosing to buy Teslas at their peak pricing. Tesla’s commitment to low prices has been publicly known for over 17 years.
