Practical production of hydrogen by electrolysis is only 50% efficient (whatever ‘experts’ on the internet claim - the higher efficiencies rapidly burn through expensive rare element electrodes). Liquefaction/compression is only 70% efficient. Fuel cells are only 50% efficient. Add in distribution and you’re down to around a 15% total efficiency. EVs are 4x to 6x more efficient. Note that this applies regardless of the original source of the energy.

  3. I see the usual shills for hydrogen ‘disk’ technology are here... ...it doesn’t work and never has. And all it replaces is the storage method, it totally fails to address any of the other major problems with using hydrogen.
