  1. My father’s only ever interaction with the police was as the result of a traffic accident caused by the police speeding and then blatantly lying about it in court. Strangely I had exactly the same experience forty years later. In both cases, their perjury was proved but no further action was taken.

  2. I live in a town with a population of over 30,000 but the ‘Police Station’ is only open part time (4 half-days a week).

  3. Maybe if the police spent less time ‘patrolling’ Twitter and Facebook for wrong-think, they’d have more time for catching real criminals?
