  1. ***MEDIA FAIL*** -- You need to have religion to have moral high ground? You need to have religion to build bipartisanship? What about weekly bipartisan meetings of atheist and agnostic Senators? Wouldn't involve religion, and if those Senators can converse, relate, and build trust without religion, it proves religion was superfluous and unnecessary for Senators to build bridges with the opposition. Personally, respect all faiths, but keep it out of politics and government, please. Separation of church and state protects EVERYONE--all faiths, religious and non-religious--alike! Republicans have forgotten the importance of this vital American principle.
