  11.  @skaybaltimore  ~ Fauci has been telling us the truth, but the problem is that he hasn't always told us the whole truth, especially at the beginning of this pandemic. While understandable to some extent, have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, thought that people with integrity like Fauci should have resigned en masse. On the other hand, there's the very real possibility that would have left the nation in even worse shape than where we are--something quite difficult to even contemplate. Hard to fault too much those who are selfless and altruistic, if having little respect for those like Bolton, who put ideology, ego, and greed before their integrity. Bannon's heads on a pike comment referenced both Fauci and FBI Director Wray. As former head of Reich-wing media outlet Breitbart news, Bannon knew he was within his First Amendment rights. It was no less offensive that that spoken before by other Reich-wing demagogues like Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter. Of course it was irresponsible, reprehensible, vile, an incitement to violence. However, the problem isn't so much the First Amendment as is the missing universal public rejection and condemnation of Bannon and his words. Bannon's lawyer representing him against federal fraud charges did immediately resign, but that is small consolation.
