So, some native Hawaiian's rely on ancient voodoo beliefs to protect themselves from unpredictable and inevitable volcanic activity, while others are complaining about the lack of modern technology and resources to rebuild modern infrastructure in unsafe areas so they can return to making a living through modern fishing methods. Anyone else notice the incongruity?
