You'd be surprise at how much less experience. Where US pilots average 150-300 hours a year depending on where they are in their flight career (lots of time while Lt to Commander, less as you hit Captain because you are now being groomed for a star) the average Russian pilot averages 40-60 hours a year with almost no BFM training. As one Navy pilot said, 40 hours means you learned to navigate, take off and land and fly formation and push buttons. Where the Navy has the Navy Fighter Weapon school, the USAF has it's Weapon school for the F-15, F-16, F-35 and even A-10. The Russians shut down theirs in 1991.

@little_error295 Dale Snodgrass retired with over 8,000 flight hours after 25 years, 320 hours of flight hours and that's with 5 of those years flying a desk instead of a plane, You are using USAF/ANG numbers and even those numbers change between deployed and not-deployed flight hours.
