  2. The metro in LA is a POS. To get from where my brother lives near Diamond Bar to his work in Burbank, he needs to take 2 busses and a train, then has to walk a half mile, total time 3 hours. He actually did this for a month. By car it's 90 minutes. By bicycle, forget it, he can't do that and not have to get to work, take a shower and put on a fresh set of clothes before starting his shift.

  4. The most recent fire was a Tesla that had caught fire in Febuary and after the fire had been put out, kept in a yard. It self ignited over a month later as it was being moved from the yard to a facility for further inspection.

  7. @Everything It does not matter how many software patches you install, the more complicated the mechanism, the greater the points of failure. I've seen cars that are over 50 years whose doors open and close without fail and i've seen cars with fancy electronics whose doors fail less than 3 years after the car was built.
