Joshua Wood. You may be projecting. Liberals don't want to control everything, we tend to want governments to stay out of our sex lives for one. Liberals don't want the government to control speech, We supported the ACLU which as I recall sued to allow Nazi's the right to hold a parade. Identity politics, both conservative and liberals have that to some extent. Liberals don't view certain races as superior, if anything we think they are all equal. Abolishing Christianity while embracing Islam, ok that's a bit silly. Liberals are often Christians, Catholics, Jesuit, Baptists even. Some of the most prominent Liberals have been pastors, priests and nuns.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Trump actually does own the Chicago Trump Tower. As other's have perviously brought up, the Chicago Trump Tower is owned by the Trump Organization. The Trump Organization is owned by Donald J Trump, and as Trump did not divest himself off it or put his ownership in a blind trust, Donald Trump still owns the building and is responsible for everything it does including the pollution it causes.

At what point will Richardson get that the Military Chain of Command has already demonstrated that it can't be trusted? Even in his response, it shows that it just does not register. As for congress, it's 2024, why is moving the responsibility for investigating these crimes not out of the military chain of command not a law yet? I would put the same question to the Biden administration but I suspect that while the President can order it done, funding will require an act of congress.

He wasn't 500m away. Trump was 300m behind the agent. Also there is a photo of the fence where the shooter was. It was not hidden by the bushes which were rather pathetically thin and bare like Trump was too cheap to water them. You can clearly see the cheap chain link fence and the bags with the square ceramic tiles that he had hung on the fence.

@Sunny bob Quackers If the law says that you have to certify the election if it meets criteria a,b,c and the election met criteria a,b & c. You don't get to refuse to certify because you don't like the results. The Sec of State went to court, he had chance to make his case, he failed, the State Court ordered him to follow the law and certify the election or be removed from office. He has said that he will refuse to certify any election going forward. Keep in mind, he is in a deep, deep red state and a Republican will always win this county no matter what. and yet he will refuse to certify those elections.

@PodcastOnTheSpectrum Some YT did a review of this, the slope of the roof meant that until the shooter poked his head over the center peak of the roof, he was hidden from the snipers that were near Trump's podium. The police on the ground, behind and to the side of the building could see him but they were on a separate channel than the Secret Service and Trump's detail. The Secret Service and Trump's detail were on a closed, secure channel. that meant that they could not receive radio calls from the local police

@austinflavio3457 .223 to the head will kill a soldier just as well as a 105mm howitzer round will. It's just a matter of how close you need to be, 150yds vs 5 miles. We have the most advanced military in the world with tanks, drones and supersonic fighters and we are fighting people armed with AK's sometimes RPG's. Over 10 years later they are still shooting at us, the government we've installed will fall the moment we leave because it can't even pay it's own soldiers.
