  2.  @richardpetek712  The Nevada Open Road Challenge is held every May on 90 mile section of Nevada State Highway 318 that's closed for the event. It's a 60 mile run going both ways. Then there is the Silver State Classic Challenge a 90 mile version of the same event (total distance 180 miles) is held every September. Both events are open to all comers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xUzLqqzntw So far in these events I've only seen Tesla's in the 105mph class and in the 1/2 mile drag race where they are running at about 129-131mph. Tesla drivers/owners like to participate in 1/4 or even 1/10's mile drag races, not so much the longer 1/2 mile much less the 50+mile events.

  3.  @anarki_in5680  opposite, wider means your outside wheels don't loose as much grip in a high speed turn.

  4. It would probably be easier for Porsche to book Laguna Seca to set a lap time for the Taycan than it would be for Tesla to book the Nurburgring.
