@lrhcconrad2230 coal has been in decline for decades, it literally has no future. So unfortunately yes they need new careers.

Zappos probably looked at the financials and figured it would be cheaper in Vegas compared to San Francisco. Heck Kink bought the old Armory in San Franciso when no one would even buy the building for decades and the city essentially drove them out of town through it's policies, so Kink's corporate HQ is now in Nevada.
