Well said. As someone who got into comics in 2014 but dropped them in 2017, I agree. I started buying and reading manga to avoid identity politics and I'm glad I did. Also, there's even a manga about wine tasting. No joke and it's great.

@tommy8715 I can see why that would be an issue, believe me. In my case, it actually the opposite. I used to buy physical comics from 2014-2018 while I still liked comics but when I got into manga in 2020, I couldn't easily find physical copies so I use Book Walker to buy and download digital copies. It's cheaper but I also understand the risk of not being able to physically own it but for now, digital copies are convenient and the publishers aren't likely to shut down like Comixology.

@danieln6700 exactly. They do variety so well and representation even better (especially female characters) Heck, there's even a manga series about wine tasting😂
