  1. Yeah, it's brutal and taxing. No one denies this. But it is gradually changing for the better because of how massively profitable the industry has become. It may be changing slowly but it is and this is good because the improvements in conditions are natural and not forced like in the west.

American comics: Unprofessional, expensive, garbage continuity, disrespectful to customers, pushes identity politics and tokenism, and calls Jordan Peterson a Nazi.😒 Japanese manga: Respects customers, professionalism, has no woke filth, has digital format, no continuity issues, is meritocratic and is cheaper ✨👏👏✨

  3.  @magmos6346  YES! Heck, American comics used to be like that even in the 70s, 80s and 90s. It was grueling hard work and the pros had to climb up the ladder via meritocracy and it produced a lot of amazing works, series and fantastic comics writers and artists like Todd McFarlane, Alan Moore, etc. For some weird reason westerners think that the path to success must always be smooth and easy without any struggle.

  4.  @monkeyfan250  Oh no. There is no woke filth in manga or anime. They have diversity that works, well written and developed and sexy badass female characters, LGB representation and the like. That is not wokeness because these characters are first and foremost well characterized and not just defined solely by their gender or sexuality or race, unlike the west. I mean, there is a reason why characters like Felix (Re:Zero), Saber (Fate/Stay) and Astolfo (Fate/Stay) are so popular among all demographics. They are not forced onto the audience. Plus, in manga and anime, they use politics and ideology to enhance or advance a plot/story rather than use a story or plot to push politics or ideology.

  6. 😌You and my younger brother are definitely part of the OG fan base of Demon Slayer. He discovered the manga long before me and he even got me into anime for the first time in 2020 by introducing me to the show.
