The antagonistic attitude mainstream nedia has towards consumers, constant virtue signaling of toxic identity politics, poor production decisions etc. It is all coming to a head. i mean look at Assassin's Creed with Yasuke! He has been featured in many Japanese games, anime and manga and the issue of wokeness was never associated with him and his race was never used as some agenda but given western gane development and the infusion of toxic identity politics, it's no surprise the Ubisoft version became so controversial and they have nothing to help by only marketing based on his race and sexuality.
